FinBaze named among final five Dutch fintechs in Mastercard For Fintechs 2025
FinBaze was one of five Dutch finalists in Mastercard For Fintechs 2025, Mastercard's Western European fintech programme, which drew 244 applications.
FinBaze has been selected as one of five Dutch finalists in Mastercard For Fintechs 2025. At the Dutch round in Amsterdam, we pitched alongside Cense, CashOut, Prets BV and SocialPay to a jury of Mastercard executives and external partners.
About the programme
Mastercard For Fintechs is Mastercard's Western European programme for fintechs from pre-seed to Series A. The 2025 edition drew 244 applications from Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal. 23 fintechs reached the local finals in Paris, Madrid, Milan and Amsterdam.
The jury assessed finalists on team expertise, innovation, financial health, scalability and strategic fit with Mastercard. The Dutch round was won by Cense, which went on to represent the Netherlands at the European final in Barcelona.
What it means for FinBaze
“For most business owners, bookkeeping is still manual work done after the fact. We are building FinBaze so the books keep themselves, with AI at the core. Pitching among the best fintechs in the Netherlands shows that vision resonates,” said Emile Vos, founder of FinBaze.
“A stage like this opens up Mastercard's network and the wider fintech ecosystem. We are taking those connections into our next phase of growth,” said Roy Diets, co-founder of FinBaze.
